The eternal optimist in me wants to believe that you are right, that WE outnumber THEM and we can turn things around in this country.
The pessimist in me is haunted by your reference to Gore Vidal's quote "Americans get the government that they deserve." If that is the case, we are screwed.
Karma has a way of coming back to bite you on the ass. Considering all of the death and destruction inflicted by the US Government in the quest for world dominance, it would only be fitting if it was brought down using the same system that created it's power in the first place.
Time will tell.
